BRAVE NEW WORLD

Group summaries. The point of the summary is to record, while the works are fresh in your minds, the key information you will want to refer back to as you plan and discuss your presentations. So you will need to have down the key outline of the plot, notes on the main characters, and a record of the main themes you have identified in the work. If you have come across secondary sources (i.e. articles, blog posts, book chapters etc. commenting on or referring to your chosen work) then you should be already noting those in your bibliography. If you wish to refer to them also in your summary - if, for instance, they help explain a theme you think important, then you are free to do so. If you wish to note quotations that illustrate particular points, that may be helpful.

Emily: So this document is for Marketa, Zach and I. I couldn't figure out how to make a folder. But I figured we could start thinking about collaborating.

I made a folder for you and put this in it. It doesn't change much, but if you add more pages it can be handy for navigation.
